Precision Design selected to create brand identity, marketing materials for Eastern Pennsylvania Network for Education and Workforce PDF Print E-mail

Precision Design's logo for EP NEW combines modern, sans-serif fonts with cutting edge Web 2.0 elements such as the star, indicating "new," and the dialogue box indicating interaction.Seven regional business-education partnerships have joined together to form the Eastern Pennsylvania Network for Education and Workforce (EP NEW), and Precision Design assisted the newly formed group in its brand identity campaign.

EP NEW will allow each independent member partnership to share ideas, practices and resources with the others. The group will use its combined strength to reach a broader coverage area, spreading the message about business-education partnerships and their many benefits.

Through its seven partners, EP NEW reaches nine counties and more than 70 school districts and career/technical schools. Member organizations have already shared ideas such as events, programs and ways to use the Internet as they seek to bring students and businesses together.

Precision Design creates materials for library’s capital campaign PDF Print E-mail

thumb_hapl-book-cover.jpgPrecision Design was chosen by the Hazleton Area Public Library to coordinate the announcement of its “Renewing a Classic” capital campaign, which aims to raise $1.3 million. As part of the contract, Precision Design also created marketing materials for the library’s campaign.

The materials included a 12-page campaign image book as well as pledge cards and envelopes. Agency staff worked with library and campaign officials to write the book’s text, which included an introductory letter from the campaign’s chairman, an explanation of need, information on the library’s branches, the library’s history, testimonials from frequent library users on the importance of libraries and a call to action with information on how to donate.

CAN DO receives six multi-state awards for its marketing materials and publications PDF Print E-mail

cando-neda-award-0151CAN DO, Greater Hazleton’s economic development agency and Precision Design client, recently received awards from a multi-state group for six of its marketing publications released in 2009.

The Northeastern Economic Developers Association (NEDA) presented CAN DO representatives with one Best of Class/Superior, one Excellent, and four Merit awards in the 2009 NEDA Literature & Promotions Competition.

“NEDA’s Literature & Promotions Awards recognize the very best – and most effective – communications work in our profession. The staff of CAN DO may be justifiably proud that your work has met the test of their colleagues and competitors from throughout the Northeast,” said Eric Anderson, executive director of NEDA.
